Blueberry Yoghurt Smoothie

This breakfast is a powerhouse of nutrition including blueberries, Greek yoghurt, oats and honey. Oats contain soluble fiber (beta glucans) which lowers blood glucose, lowers cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Beta glucans and Greek yoghurt provide healthy gut bacteria (see citations page for more info on source).
Ingredients:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup Greek yoghurt (my preference is plain)
1/2 oats (steel-cut oats are the least processed)
1/3 cup honey (local is best)
Blend all ingredients and you are good to go.
